Massing of the Flags United Daughters of the Confederacy ~ Memorial Building Richmond, Virginia June 3, 1999

The 42nd Virginia was asked by the United Daughters of the Confederacy General organization to present the colours at the Massing of the Flags, held annually on June 3 to commemorate the birth of Confederate President Jefferson F. Davis.

42nd Webmaster and UDC member Kathie Fraser presented the Missouri State flag in honor of her great-great grandfather Private Sandy Pratt (2nd Missouri Infantry Regiment)
