140th Anniversary Battle of New Market

Ten soldiers from the 42nd Virginia joined with the 5th Virginia in the reenactment of the Battle of New Market. This reenactment is particularly meaningful because it is conducted on part of the original field. The original battle occurred in May, 1864, and was most famous for the participation of cadets from Virginia Military Academy.
